17. Well, damn. I don't drink soda (except Diet Sprite) and I don't eat fast food.
In fact, my diet is almost all organic anyway. And I haven't had alcohol in over 4 years. Maybe I'm just meant to be fat...

34. Divide the weight lost from your original weight.
Multiply by 100 to get a percentage. Example, a 200 lb person losing 40 lbs 40/200 = .2 or 20% when multiplied by 100.

No kidding there. That stuff is the bane of American lives. It's like crack in a can, filled with sugar and potent caffeine. Well that's great. Congrats! And I can't wait to see the pics. ~Writer~

19. Very very well done kagehime...
You should be very proud of yourself, as you have lost this weight the right way. 40 pounds in 10 months averages out to 4 pounds a month. This is a wonderful, slow and healthy pace. This means that the weight that you have lost has an EXCELLENT chance of not returning. You have done something very good for yourself. Congrats on your accomplishment!

I also lost 40+ lbs once the ex was gone. Later, when I hoisted a 45 lb suitcase on the scale for weighing at the airport, I was amazed at how heavy 45 lbs was and that I was no longer carrying that much extra around. Enjoy the extra energy!
