I missed the SAG awards show, but they just showed a clip of her on CNN. Wow! She's 66 years old. This was the only picture I could find - it doesn't do her justice. She was just stunning.

3. I don't think her movie
ever played here. Maybe it will come now that she's got an Oscar nomination. I hear it's great.

4. I don't think I can see it
"Iris" upset me so much (even though my sweetie Kate Winslet was in it), and this movie is supposed to be so much more heartstirring.

6. I'd Never Watched the SAG Awards Before
Last year a fellow I worked with, who saw it, made a wise crack about actresses with sagging boobs. I yelled at him.

It was great to tune in last night and see an awards show that featured older actors, without the ageism of the Oscars.

7. She's hardly aged since "Heaven Can Wait"
And hell, that was over 30 years ago.

And if you haven't seen the film she won the award for, "Away from Her", do see it. She's wonderful in it.

8. I couldn't believe it was her.
She looked 30. And from what I understand, she lives a very simple life on a farm - she doesn't strike me as the plastic-surgery type.

11. she's clearly had work done
the woman is in her 60s, it's obvious she has had work done, you know, the last time i talked to my doctor, he didn't ask if i lived on a farm and if i did, he wasn't going to do the work...you can live a simple life and still make use of modern technology

9. If you like Julie Christie (and/or Warren Beatty) rent McCabe and Mrs Miller,
a great Altman film.

15. My very first screen credit.
Julie was a kick to work with. She turned me on to Monty Python.

As to 'work done' - I highly doubt it. Possible - for career reasons. Not because she has an excess of vanity.
