6. If you are shaking you REALLY need to get the fever down.
ice packs for 15 minutes every hour on your ankles, cold cloth on your wrists (icepack if you can stand it) and maybe even icepack on your sternum. -- a lukewarm tub, (((not cold))) will also help. Tylenol if you are able to take it and have not reached your dosage limit for the day through other meds with it in there.

You gotta break that fever kiddo. Some nurse told me 105 is considered the life threatening point but they told me with dear hubby that once you start shaking your body is getting within a degree to reaching it's fever limit.

You can shiver at 98.9 just as badly.

I've had the respiratory shit since Wednesday, and still haven't totally shaken it. And the stuff I'm coughing up is like wet papier-mâché.
