Congrats to Maria Sharapova!
Winner of the 2008 Aussie Open, her third Grand Slam.

Posted this on the bodybuilder thread. Thought it deserved its own thread.

Seven matches in two weeks and she didn't lose one freaking set?!

"Champions take chances, and pressure is a privilege," Billie Jean King had written in a text message that Sharapova saw when she woke up on the day of the final.

I suppose it's sexist to appreciate her looks but I've always liked how she's a tennis player first and a model second, unlike the overrated Kournikova.
