1. Cute joke, but...
...he's out by about thirty centuries. According to the Wikipedia:

"circa 26th century BC: Flush toilets were first used in the Indus Valley Civilization. The cities of Harappa and Mohenjo-daro had a flush toilet in almost every house, attached to a sophisticated sewage system"

2. Johny Carson made a joke about Sir Thomas Crapper
inventing the flush toilet for years. I looked up Sir Thomas Crapper in Wikipedia and you are correct. I learned something today, what good it will ever do me I don't know.
