My hubby said we might as well forget the primaries now
and get behind Kerry and start the campaign against Bush. He said everyone's just going to follow the leader now and it doesn't make a difference. Too bad the first 12 states kind of influence how the rest of the country decides. Makes me mad since I don't vote until May 4th.

Has the frontrunner ever won all these states before? It just seems so not fair!

1. Don't give up
I'd love to see Dean rise to the top but.... If he loses Wis. he is out as he says. This should give most of his support over to Edwards especially in the south. Remember, the south has not spoken yet. I do not think they like Kerry too much.

2. I agree, it's really not fair.
He's not my first choice either, and it's not fair that it's all decided before most of the country has a chance to vote. But this election is about one thing - get Bush out. I'll vote for his opposition, but I don't have to like it. I still prefer my candidate.

3. Why doesn't a large industrial state get to go first?
I don't think Iowa or New Hampshire are very representaative of the country.

5. No, they're not
But they raise righteous hell whenever anyone even suggests that some other state(s) join them in those early primaries, and, for some reason, the Democratic Party continues to cave in.

6. Why not have all of them on the same day?
Wouldn't that make more sense?
