Send a CAPTION home to daddy

Dear Poppy,

Hey, how's it going? How's Bar? Anyway, I just wanted to keep you up to speed on what's going on here at the Texas Air National Guard. Last week, we were taught how to shred military records and make a National Guard assignment look like you were in the first wave at Anzio. Of course, after all that b.s. was finished, me and the boys drove into town to look for some tail. Fitzy and Spanish got so drunk they puked all over the staff sergeant's Pontiac. It was so cool!

We found this little bar in town where the girls hang out. After a few Buds and some Spanish fly, I took this girl I picked up in the joint outside and, ahem, "romanced" her in the alley on top of a dumpster. After I had finished, I brought her back inside to a booth, where she passed out and I found my opportunity to make a break.

By the way, I have somehow contracted VD. Please send penicillin.

Having a great time and please don't let Mom anywhere near this letter.

... Poppy, please make a few calls, and run it pass Baker to make sure it has a work-around solution for when I've been made Prez and have to deal with that campaign routine ... all my friends are partying ... this here uniform could be used for dress-up when I want to be a Sheriff or pumping gas at Texaco ... plus, I can't work for quote enquote United Fruit Company to help Jeb, and do this, too ...
