Will someone please explain to me how the fuck Ray Charles just released a live CD?
The motherfucker's dead! How the fuck is he gonna release a "Live" CD? He hasn't been live for a while now. Have they been sitting on this? Psheah, damn record companies, just try to pull all the money they can out of someone, even when their fucking dead. Just look at Elvis.

I'm sure there are hundreds, if not thousands, of hours of Ray Charles concerts on tape. Good for them for bringing new things to the fans. It's something I'd actually consider buying. I always wanted to see Ray Charles play live, but kept passing up the chance.... now I feel like a boob.

4. Because the Ray Charles estate likely has thousands of hours of material
that's never been released.

Zappa died in '94, and has released probably 10 albums since then, and the family still have probably 10,000 hours of live material they could release, and probably a thousand or more hours of studio or Synclavier recorded material that's never been released.
