Just won my first case.

Had a hearing today for a disability determination in front of the ALJ. The decision was fully favorable, with benefits being awarded back to the date of application.

This person needed help badly. I think I made a real difference in her life. :)

I'm so proud of you! I've have been and still am somewhat in the same position as your client I KNOW how you must have helped her. I try not to bother my lawyer but had to call him today because I believe I didn't receive adequate compensation from my recent impairment rating. He didn't seem surprised by my complaint and he'll go after the right people. If I were being unreasonable he would have made that clear, and sent me barking up another tree.
