If a giant asteroid was headed toward Earth, could Kerry stop it?

Personally, I don't think so. I think Kerry would probably make excuses for it -- heck, I heard he voted against funding for space exploration.

Maybe he'd use his wife's money to bail the earth out at the last minute, but ultimately he'd just let the asteroid hit earth.
