Pussy Willows blooming in Western Washington State
Well they just started popping out of their buds a couple of days ago in my back yard! How lucky I am to have one of those new fangled Mid-Winter blooming strains of pussy willow!
Bet ya didn't know there was a mid-winter blooming strain of pussy willow!
Truth be told: I am not aware of such a strain either!
Do ya suppose Global Warming may have invaded my back yard?
Not sure where you're at, but it hasn't been over 40 degrees in over a week here. I did see a robin in my front yard the other day though (despite the fact that it was about 30 degrees at the time) so maybe nature's a little confused?
3. last week I saw a slug and an earthworm on my front porch
I've never lived in this part of the world at this time of year before, but it did seem really strange.... birds singing also started around that time. Shit's off.
