2. Me, too.
I'll never believe that gang created those cartoons for kids at all. They were stictly for their own amusement, I'll bet. Would have loved to been in the room when they created the story boards.

4. They've said in interviews that their cartoons were never meant for children.
I remember growing up in the 1970s reading somewhere that the most violent show on TV was the Bugs Bunny Road Runner Hour.

5. Check out the book: "50 Years and Only One Grey Hare"

The book is a riot. Great stories how the animators from Warner Bros. and Disney would all get together on payday, and head to the beach to drink. Or how they routinely raided Warner Bros. costume department (once the execs were giving a tour of the animation wing, and the illustrators had gotten into the cowboys-n-indians costumes, and even had a bonfire going inside the building). Or how the Warner Bros. employees always wondered, after Fantasia, just what the Hell ol' Walt was using to spike the Disney employees' drinking water.

7. "I love the smell of burnt feathers, and gunpowder, and cordite!"
"I'm an elk! Shoot me again! It's elk season!"
