Possible jobs when I graduate?
Political science major and I'm going to graduate in May hopefully. I'm not quite sure what I want to do that and, uh, I figure that I need to decide that pretty soon.

I'd love to get a job doing something, anything involving the government at any level or possibly a think-tank or something. Help me out DU with suggestions!

3. How about working for a charity that lobbies/interacts with the govt?
Like The Humane Society of the United States, Waterkeepers Alliance, NRDC, etc?

4. That's one of the options I've been exploring
Problem is that there are just so many charities and different options that it's been difficult for me to narrow it down so far.

6. you could work for a candidate
I don't know how that works, but if you have a candidate you'd really like to help, maybe that could be a good entree. I think I saw a job listing for the ACLU the other day in an email jobs list I get for my work area.

You can look into working for blogs, like TPM. Professional blogs have staffers.

do you know how to make web pages and work as a project manager in info. architecture? if so, there are lots of possible jobs in that area.

7. Hey, I'm graduating in May too!
:hi: Except my degree is in anthropology, which probably makes me considerably less useful. x( Best of luck w/the job search - with a poli sci degree, I'm sure you will be able to find something that interests you at some level of government! :pals: :hi:
