I just saw the movie John Q. Ask me anything.
If you do not know, it is about a hospital that won't treat a man's son by replacing his heart because he does not have insurance and HMO's go out of their way to screw people over. It stars Denzel Washington. Good movie. I don't know whether it is based on a true story or not.

1. I like that movie very much
It's a wakeup call to anti-reform politicians, HMO's and insurance companies. If the system is not fixed a scenario like that movie WILL play out in real life someday.

3. Haven't seen it yet. Saw the preview.
That made me realize that they really don't try to save everyone's life. I ignorantly thought that they would do life saving operations and worry about how to pay for it later. That had always been my experience with myself and other family members. I wonder how many other Americans think that is the case. Anyway, I am definitely for universal health care coverage. I would like to see the movie but since I cried during the preview, I don't know if it will be too sad for me.

5. You should
It's sad but it shows alot of what goes on today. They will act like they are trying to save you when you don't have money but they certainly don't give it a good effort. The result if you live is you need more medical care. Which means more bills.

7. Did you cry?
I cried but not at the sad part, I cried because it got me so angry. I was very upset when i walked out of the theater, but I was with a bunch of republicans from Catholic school and couldn't really talk about it.
