Strange places your fur-friends like to sleep?

Heidi (dog) loves to curl up on a bag of shredded paper in the office.

Dot (kitty) loves to sleep inside the bag if she can work it open. And then doesn't understand why she gets yelled at for being inside the plastic bag.

1. On top of Mr. MG's old computer monitor

MAN was she pissed when it kicked the bucket and was replaced by a flat-screen. She tried to stuff herself onto the top of the external hard drive, but it just wasn't the same. There were a few extra outside-the-box poops for me to clean up that week. (She's a vindictive little feline--good thing she's cute--and good thing I lay down a giant sheet of plastic near the litter boxes.)

On edit: and our tabby male likes to sleep on a large tuft of insulation in our under-renovation built-in china cabinet in the dining room.

As for the shoe thing, yeah, that happened to a friend of mine's husband. He did something to offend one of their cats and ended up with a slipper full of poo (which, of course, he didn't notice in the early morning and stepped in--yich). They have a way of getting their point across!

8. My Bull Mastiff sleeps on the couch, but has to have his head wedged under or in between

the back pillows. He then twists on his back and hangs his legs over the arm.

If she decides that she's ready for a nap and one of us *isn't* on the bed in the correct position, she will jump up on the bed and YOWL her displeasure until one of us lays down so she can curl up in her nice warm spot.
