XML/RSS knowledgeable people -- help a Dem do Dem things...

Okay, a few real basic questions that I seem not to be able to get from the internet...

All I want to be able to do is to put my own XML feed on a front page that lists the <titles> and such in a listed archive.

I know html and am thinking why can't I just do a simple JS/Java plugin or something? I would like to do this with my blogger account.

I did some things with "Deanspace" before and know there is something to do with "nodes" and feeds and stuff but what do I have to do to get my own XML(RSS?) feed on to my page
