Pup needs surgery: Please vote for Jazzie!
I just received this request from my little dog's "pup pal" on Dogster.com and knew that I could depend on my fellow DU animal lovers to help out. This precious little dog requires surgery and the money she'll win if she gets the most votes will help pay for it... Please vote for Jazzie and pass this one on... It will just take a minute to help save a puppy. Just click on the link and vote. :-)

Many thanks from Rhiannon & Jack

http://www.petanim.com/christmas-diva

Everybody this dog needs our votes more than Jenna does. As much as I could use the money...this dog needs surgery and the money would go to help pay for the surgery. I know I'd beg, borrow and steal to get the money to save Jenna's life. Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully the time to vote for her.

Love you all Donna and Jenna

3. Thank you so much, Venus, for your vote and the kind words...
My little Jack required surgery when I first adopted him, was the reason he landed in rescue, so he has a personal stake in this... :yourock:

13. Thanks, I'll do that!
Though he just chewed the "do not remove" label from my comforter, so I may wait a little while... *sigh* It's fortunate for him that he's as cute as he is, LOL.;)

20. I know!!! They were obviously made very cute for a reason! I am also cat-sitter
for nuxvomica's two kittens, Tom and Huck, little orange brothers... And with two, like the dogs, they like to double-team you! Huck, the one in the foreground, gets into everything, but he always makes me laugh...:loveya:

Have had four in my life.:loveya: And Sammy is just the cutest thing! I love Yorkies, too, but my dogs find me, one Cairn, one sweet little terrier mix and my two Brussels Griffons, Meneken and Jack, who are in my sig. And Jack has pointy ears, while Meneken's are floppy...:D :hi:

27. Thanks, but I wouldn't go that far, LOL... Just kidding.
Jack is adorable, but I call him my little "devil dog," since he still gets into everything... He's the second dog that I've adopted who required surgery right away. :-( He was a "pet shop dog" who landed in rescue, couldn't be sold because he wasn't "perfect." *sigh* He had a hernia which was easily repaired when he was neutered, not that it slowed him down, LOL.:D

My Sara, who was found as a stray, had a growth in her mouth and on her back, and required two big surgeries over the years, which were, fortunately, successful...:-) I lost her in 2006, after fighting the good fight... But she was perfect from day one.:loveya:

So this is the reason that I sympathize with little Jazzie, and you do, as well. It's very scary. Thanks so much for your kind words. Your guys were very fortunate when they found you...

Here's my favorite pic of Sara, just after grooming. Needless to say, the ribbons didn't last long, but at least I managed to get a pic of her right after she came home... :D

28. Thank you, my friend! I knew that I could depend on you... :-)
It's been awhile... Hope that all is well with you! I haven't been on DU all that much since I managed to burn my foot quite badly while making soup over a month ago, made Christmas dinner while on crutches, but am supposed to keep it elevated since it hurts like hell when I don't. *sigh* I'm also on serious pain meds, so I guess that it's not a bad thing that I'm not posting much, LOL.:D It's always something with me... *sigh*:eyes:

Thanks for voting for this cute little dog in need. Jack and I both appreciate it. Jack had surgery when I first adopted him, was the reason that he landed in rescue. He's doing just great and we both are wishing the same happy outcome for little Jazzie... :-)

Here's Jack on Al's boat this summer, with Al's huge Airedale, Charlie, who is Jack's best buddy... Thanks again!:hi:

32. I agree and can identify.
Two of my dogs, both from rescue, required surgery when I adopted them. My sweet little Sara, found as a stray, had growths removed from her mouth and her back, and Jack was considered "imperfect" because he had a small hernia which was easily repaired when he was neutered... They both were just fine after that. :-)

They help animals in need and maybe there won't be any need to bank on winning a contest.

I'm not usually a vote-for-my-pet (baby, band, photograph, whatever) kind of guy, but this is for a worthy cause. I hope your pet gets the surgery she needs and continues to bring you joy for as long as possible.
