Speaking of dogs ... I'm beat and am going to take mine to bed. He's ruptured his knee and is in a lot of pain - as a result neither one of us got any sleep last night. He just couldn't get comfortable. :( I've loaded him up on glucosomine and baby aspirin ... hopefully it will do more for him tonight than it did last night. FYI - if your dog ever starts limping and it lasts for more than a couple of hours, you can pretty much bet on the fact that he's ruptured his knee. I never knew that before I had to deal with it myself.

But I did realize that that might be first time I've actually heard Jerry Garcia talk. Man, I love the music he made, but apart from maybe saying "Thanks, we'll be back" between sets at a Dead show, I don't think I've ever heard the guy not singing. His death didn't seem like a big deal to me at the time, but now I really miss his music and all the fun (there were lousy things too) of dead shows.
