How can I capture a video from a tv news web site to keep? About my Dad

1. I don't know, but maybe contact the station to get a copy...?

Stations will often sell video footage.
And, since you are family, they may give you a copy.

5. If you do that, don't talk to anyone in the newsroom

unless you want to be interviewed. News folk will sniff a follow-up story here, so unless you'd be okay with that, just talk to the receptionist.

2. Some here may post a direct way to grab it, but I agree with Whoa_Nelly's suggestion

It's worth asking them because they would have the best resolution level.
