3. There's been a serious lack of sleep, so I might need
a nap first, if I can manage it. I'm trying to drug myself with coffee, but it's not working so far. Where will you start tomorrow?

18. probably in my bedroom
need to mop the floor, dust, put lots of clothes away.

then the bathroom.... complete clean in there

then the living room.... I did a thorough dust and vacuum in there last week, so just a tidy up and pass the vacuum in there

Kitchen needs a full clean

I need to vacuum my car too

Plus, I want to make a pot roast

I've been sleeping well. Lately, if I'm tired, I go to bed. One night this week I was in bed at 6:30.... last night 8:00. I'm not messing w/ my sleep. I have sleeping disorders so I can't take a good night's sleep forgranted.

You're right about sleep. It's sort of necessary. Insomnia is a drag.

 Besides, I don't know if it would be as therapeutic as doing it here. HEY...I bought a brand new Dirt Devil yesterday! It's cosmic! I can't wait to use it on the throw rugs!

7. I'm the housekeeper at our place
And yes..I find it very therapeuatic...to be able to relax after a good cleaning and think there is nothing to do. Anyone can drop by without me feeling like a slob!

I had a landlady years and year ago when I was a single slob who dropped by one day, my first solo one bedroom. The place was a wreck, dirty laundry everywhere, dirty dishes, typical bachelor pad!

I apologized profusely to my landlady who was the nicest landlord I ever had. She said that she didn't care, it was my place, I paid the rent and I had to live in it. The next day I cleaned it right up and have always kept my places clean ever since.

10. There's plenty to do here.
For instance, I just picked up some white stuffing from a stuffed animal that one of the dogs chewed to pieces in my office. I feel better already! You should see this shit. It's all over the room!

14. Start with the kitchen sink. Scrub it and shine it up...
Edited on Fri Jan-11-08 09:07 AM by youthere
you'll be surprised how it advances from there. I'm a bit of a cleaning freak, slightly obsessive in fact. That's where I always start.
And I think you're right about the therapuetic part. maybe that's why I clean so much because I don't think about anything else when I do it. It's just kind of mindless, worry free busy-ness.

28. I used to start there
but then dragging all the dirty cups and plates and stuff I find while cleaning makes it dirty again, so I'd end up cleaning more than once.

But the suggestion was a good one. It was a great incentive.
