My sweetie gave me a dozen roses on Sunday for no reason at all. Such a deep pink they are almost purple. They're gorgeous.

Amazing, isn't it, how flowers can make your day? For me anyway. Congrats on your anniversary!

I couldn't afford one for each year.
Years after I started the tradition we found out that 'in the language of flowers' yellow roses mean 'infidelity'.

for my mom until he passed shortly before their 49th anniversary. I took up the tradition for a bit but it got too costly but she never was without flowers on her anniversary. You have a dear husband.
