4. I have three
A cat on my stomach and a sea serpent behind my shoulder and a fairy on my lower back. I don't have any pictures of them posted though.
The first one I got, the cat, is the only one I really love. The other two I could take or leave, they're already blurring, I bet they're gonna look GREAT when I'm 70 :p

11. The big one's gonna be this one...
http://www.stickmanltd.com/personalstuff/rood.html

Size-wise it's gonna cover from the small of my back to the nape of my neck.

Then I want an egyptian wadjet eye on each shoulder, and the two faces tattoo from Hedwig and the Angry Inch on my hip.

I thought about getting another egyptian themed tattoo on my chest, a scarab beetle with outspread wings and a sun disk. But around the age of 23 I finally started to get a little bit of chest hair going on there so that would probably get in the way. :P

8. I have 3... almost 30 hrs worth of time under the gun!
o.k... so here's me, showing them all off:

Close-up of my right arm:

Close-up of my left:

A close-up of the one around my neck would get the thread locked. That winged demoness is quite buxom and exposed.

I want at least a couple more before i'm done... just have to make a firm commitment as to what i really want.

16. yeah... it's a reproduction of a character study...
from a 'collected works' book of his that i had years ago.

The tattoo itself was my 25th birthday present from my tattooist! It's holding up well 16 yrs later, huh?!

And yay you for recognizing it... i think you're the first in a few years, as a matter of fact. :-)

31. Banpaia hantâ D, or as it's known here in the states, Vampire Hunter D
was an anime that made it over here in the 80s. It wasn't that great, but the character design was based on some Amano stuff and it was rather interesting. They put out a sequel a few years ago, late 90s or early 2000s if I recall correctly that was pretty bad-ass. :) Much higher quality artwork. Not much plot, but some awesome Amano-inspired visuals.

Since it was using european vampire mythos as the basis for it, they tried to use a lot of european words for things but they didn't always translate well. Hence the engrish title of the movie. :) And they tried to use the word dhampir to describe the half-human half-vampire, but the closest they could get in japanese was 'dunpeal' or something like that. :)

33. Yeah... now THAT i know about...
I saw "D" back in the early '90s the first time; i was given a tape copy by a friend in DC. I found that art book a few weeks later, and it sat on my shelf for a while, until my friend Sheik borrowed it, and then surprised me by offering to do that "D" tat for me on my birtday.

I saw "Bloodlust" a couple of yrs ago... have a copy here somewhere. Our son (who's 7 1/2) absolutely loved it, too. But then, this is the same kid whose favorite movie for a few weeks this past summer was "Return of the Living Dead".

15. Me and several of my friends went to get "Friendship" tats
They were done in a little camper trailer in the mountains of Colorado. I am hiv positive. The artist used his sterilizing thingy and threw away the needles. He knew that a few of us were poz, he didn't care. He was just very careful. We all were so close and got along so well, we called ourselves the collective. It's a borg insignia

I think he was saying he was already hiv positive, and the tattoo artist knew and didn't care, and instead of trying to re sterilize the needles just threw them out.

Correct me if i'm wrong Roon :)

They are hoping I don't cut myself, and even if I don't..they're still afraid. I had a buddy when I was a kid that wouldn't share his pot pipe with me. But he finally got educated and doesn't do that anymore.

I am healthy, strong, and fat and feel great. Take my meds! Try not to drink (still working on that). My Mother always tells me,you are not going to die from aids. I didn't believe her then, when I lost two ex boyfriends...but I believe her now, I just might beat this thing! A lot of good drugs coming down the pipeline!

There has never been a reported incidence of anyone catching HIV from a tat gun. They use universal precautions. Do you understand what that is?

Not only that but I can not even tell man from woman anymore, I'm loseing it man!

I always thought that "real"tat artists are pretty safe, thats why I said i have never heard of it happening. I just got kind of scared though and lost my sense.

I remember though watching this shady dude use a shady looking needle to do a really crappy hack job on this girl I knew. but I guess thats what you get when you are getting a tat in some guys living room and he is drinking beer.
