Jeremiah was a bullfrog,
was a good friend of mine,
I never understood a single word he said,
But I helped him drink his wine.
And, he always had some mighty fine wine.

(For some reason, I don't know why, I've had this earworm for the last hour and a half--thought I might pass it along to you. )

1. Is Jeremiah still alive?
Or has he croaked?

2. Aw geez thanks!

Damn me for clicking on your infernal link, rateyes!

This reminds me of when I was in kindergarten--I was too young to be admitted to the public school kindergarten (I turned 5 in January of the school year), but I tested into a private school about a 15 minute drive away, so my mom drove me there every morning. And every morning, one radio station (95 WBBF in Rochester, NY--back when the pop tunes were on AM, baby!) played "Joy to the World" at exactly the same time (I think it was 8:10), so I heard it EVERY DAY. Didn't mind, either. Funny the memories song bring up, huh?

4. Yeah, there's a few songs that I do my best to
avoid because of some of those memories! Others, I can't get enough of.

Hey, if you were king/queen of the world...tell me what you'd do! :D

16. True...
...or songs written under the influence of Boone's Farm Tickle Pink.

Perhaps "Bullfrog" is some sort of slang, but as it stands literally, it's so cutesy I could puke.

That, and I have a bit of a problem with wine snobs. :)

15. Dumb? You think that's dumb?
No, it's just objective reporting.

Jeremiah WAS, actually, a bull-frog. Period. No spin, no nothin'.

Now, George Bush - THAT's "dumb."
