1. Didn't Anne Rice go all crazy-religious a while back?

2. I don't think she went crazy religious
she just reverted to her original Catholicism and wrote a novel about Jesus.

5. I don't know what it is about vampire authors
They all end up going nuts. Anne Rice, Laurell K. Hamilton, Poppy Z Brite...

6. Mmm, another good point.
Mental note: start writing more fiction involving vampires... :)

7. Maybe you can get Lestat to hang out with you
Since he "left" Crazy Annie.

(...and if you do, please take pix. :P)

8. Whether I take pictures will depend entirely
on how flexible Lestat is and how long he can hold certain *ahem* poses.

10. The book or the movie version?
I haven't actually read the book so I don't know what the description was there... but I do recall someone telling me that Armand was supposed to be some gangly teenager or something. :P

15. Movie Louis is actually very faithful to Book Louis

But Armand...

Yeah, to give you an idea, Armand is a redhaired Russian, who Marius made into a vampire when he was a teenager. Pretty much every time he makes an appearance, a big deal is made about how "cherubic" he is because he looks so young.

Antonio Banderas as a vampire is incredibly hot, but he would have been a much better choice for Khayman, had someone with taste and talent done Queen of the Damned.

21. I'm thinking I might try to learn something you don't hear every day...
like welsh. You never hear that on TV or anything. :P It's just different enough to be sexy. And since I have a welsh/english first and middle name (even though I have no welsh or english ancestry that I know of) people wouldn't be surprised by it.

Or maybe irish. I could probably pull off an irish accent. Irish last name. :) (once again, no irish ancestry that I know of... long story involving lots of remarriages and crap.)

her gay son christopher rights some pretty "off" books. I have read all three.(sometimes I read fiction).

17. She lost me around the time Lestat sucked Jesus' blood on the cross
I mean, I love Lestat, and I love blasphemy, but that was just...ugh ugh. That whole book was just made of wrong, lose, and fail. The only books she's written since then that were worth a damn were the Armand and Marius books, which were basically the same book anyway.

I've avoided Christopher's books on general principle. I've yet to read the product of nepotism that was any good (see also: Brian Herbert's turding all over his father's legacy).
