I love Red Meat
Edited on Sat Feb-07-04 07:58 PM by Lostmessage
Before you get any odd thoughts I mean Beef and I would walk a mile for a good prime rib dinner.

Anyone else still eat red meat even tho mad cow is going around?

I love the smell of a good steak cooking on a grill.

Am I crazy or drunk?

4. Guilty pleasure for me
I'm an Orthodox Jew, so I'm not supposed to eat red meat unless its dried out and salted; but every now and then... you know... :)

5. Do you keep a kosher kitchen?
We use to eat meat on Fridays in our house and we were suppose to have fish.
You have to have a good steak every now and then.

Because of my Sephardic culture I eat lots of couscous with lamb though, so it's not all bad ;)

7. I had a good sirloin for lunch...
Edited on Sat Feb-07-04 09:16 PM by YellowRubberDuckie
It was so good...It was medium...It was hot, red in the middle, with clear juices. It was sooo fantastic. With Mashed potatoes...At Friday's again...And I tipped almost 50%. Red Meat is a REQUIREMENT!

12. I'm currently on Atkins...Red meat is fantastic!
I haven't had anything grilled except for prime DelMonicos and prime filet mignons (and Gulf shrimp) in months.

Bless you Dr. Atkins...

13. Just bought a weber smokey mountain cooker (smoker) and
smoked up an 8.5 lb brisket and 4 racks of baby back ribs. Sensational! I can't wait to try her out again (tho it was cold cold cold out, and took more than 13 hours to do). Can't wait to try a prime rib, too, when funds permit.

I love my charcoal grills, too, and am aching to do a tenderloin. And I also want to grill other stuff---quesadillas, and pizzas, too!

18. I love a good beef tenderloin ...
... but in my area they're up to $20.00/pound, so I've crossed over to pork tenderloin in a cream cheese sauce. Good stuff!
