I got to work yesterday, clock in, and find my boss.

Me: "Okay, P., what's the plan?"

Boss: "We got ten pallets of blanks in today, so you're washing them tonight."

me: "Okay."

Boss: "They're working on the work orders now, so just start washing and you can clock in on the job when they come down.

Me: "Sounds good, P."

Boss: "The pallets are by the door. I'm not sure what shape the wash tank is in, though. The day shift hasn't used it all day."

Me: (frowning) It's probably still a three-dimensional rectangular solid.

(long pause)

Boss: I'm going to have to hurt you today, aren't I?
