Anyone else still get turned on by an overplayed song "standard"?
Listening to Rod Stewart and Queen Latifah duetting on "As\Time Goes by" on my favourite jazz station this morning. I realised that this well-worn old standard - together with others like "These Foolish Things" and "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered," still hit the spot for me.

Any other DUers have this problem or is it unique to my ageing process?

1. Ashamed to admit it but Yes!
I have both Rod Stewart albums of old standards, as well as all of Steve Tyrell's stuff. My all-time favorite is "Someone to Watch Over Me".

2. I'll tell you what hits the spot.
Jekyll & Hyde - Someone Like You

and oddly enough, considering I was born and raised muslim...The part in Sister Act where the shy nun losses they shyness and belts one out.

Ps. I'm such a loser.:)
