As much as I hate to admit it, there is more than a passing resemblance between me and... her. :scared:

I have a heart and a brain, though.

I would have guessed 1960s suburbia from the hair and make-up.

32. Aah!
You're an actor. I didn't know that. I'll tell you why I thought the style seemed more 1960s than 1940s:
1. eyeliner. I don't believe women in the 1940s wore eyeliner.
2. hair. Too soft looking. In the 1940s, women had harsh-looking perms with tight curls.

I hope things well for you in this time piece.

42. Good catch!

The eyeliner, yep, that was for the stage. And the hair... I think the inspiration was the hairstyle that Patti Andrews (the blonde Andrews sister) wore:

Thanks though and yes, the production went well and it was a whole lot of fun!

We have a winaaaah!

Last month, for an acting gig set in the 40s. The director wanted me blonde, and I didn't want to wear a wig. It was a pretty dramatic change and I wondered if I looked different enough that people wouldn't recognize me. So I wanted to see if I could fool you guys. Heeeee!

S'anyway, how you doin'?

37. My father painted it in the 1950s. It's the cover of a vinyl album by...
French composer Michel LeGrand -- now out of print. The album was "La Femme" ("The Woman"). Can't even find the cover art on the internet or at a couple of recycled record stores. My Dad was an amateur painter (sculptor, violinist, and inventor). He did some amazing things.

BTW, I am really sorry about my guess upthread. I didn't know it was YOU and I'm sorry if I offended you with my guess. Best, Radio Lady Ellen
