Ramen!
Right now, I'm havin a bowl of Ramen for lunch.

Mmmmm. Tastes good when made right, and it's as cheap as dirt!

2. Hey, you can do more with ramen noodles...
Start With... Ramen Noodles

An example:

Ramen Corn Chowder

1 pkg. Ramen noodles
2-1/2 cups water
1 16-oz. can creamed corn
1 cup frozen corn kernels
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. curry powder
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup grated Cheddar or Colby cheese

In a large saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add ramen noodles and the flavor packet and cook for 5 minutes. Add creamed corn, frozen corn, ginger, curry powder, and milk. Heat over medium heat to a gentle simmer, and cook for 2-4 minutes; do not let the soup boil. Add grated cheese and stir until melted and the soup is blended. 4 servings

6. Lentil soup with some spices and diced vegetables
Talk about a truly perfect food. It's something you could eat every day for the rest of your life and not be deprived of nutrients. Of course, you'd be stark raving sick of them before long, but if you were trapped on an island and could only have one main food supply it would have to be either something like lentils or maybe potatoes. An endless supply of ramen noodles would turn you into a walking train wreck in short order.

7. Lentil Soup, YEAH!
That I make at least a couple of times a month....and split pea as well. Very cheap and lots of protein too, don't cheat me on the hot sauce!

9. Ramen spagetti
If you got leftover tomato soup,a can of hunts tomato sauce/paste or leftyover spagetti sauce adding ramen noodles works ,they cook up quick and make a half decent spagetti in a pinch.
