I honestly don't know much about Les Miles, but I do know that Jim Tressel kicks ass as a coach.

I've been cheering for teams from cities and states that were destroyed by Katrina. I feel like having those teams improves morale and spirit for those teams and fans.

I made a simple prediction.

It was a joke comparing calling the game to how many people around here are calling the election for their candidate when the primaries have barely begun.

There was nothing remotely unsportsmanlike in my intent or statement.

As for the Buckeyes - they're a great team who made it to the championship two years in a row. LSU was just the type of team that played up to their weakness, and all teams have weaknesses. I just don't take this stuff too seriously.

And the Buckeyes deserved to be there. Considering how young the team is, they are a helluva football team, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the championship again next year. Maybe the third time (in a row) will be the charm. :)

We'll take the game, even if we lose. It's all experience. If the young guys don't have a shot at playing in a championship game, they won't know how to handle it later on.
