43. yes, and sometimes it even snows. It got down to 28 dgrees New Years Eve
I was frantically planting my daffodils to get them in ground so they would chill for me. it stayed chilly most of the week then warmed up Saturday. We will do this several times before it stays warm for good. We are normally good for one really good Ice Storm per winter. Usually in early Feb, or a good round of freezing rain, during the Fort Worth Stock Show.

I opened the windows and I went out and shoveled some dirt around. I found a CUTE salamander who I hope will make it when it freezes again next week, I guess it'll be okay. My aunt in Norfolk had a couple of over-wintering butterflies born on her porch and she had to let them out even though there are no flowers for them and they'll die tonight. It's officially weird weather today for the butterflies I think.

rain today. There were tornadoes to the north of us last night, but we didn't have any bad weather here. I slept with my bedroom windows open last night. Strange weather for January.
