Rod Stewart is ANNOYING.
Why the hell is CNN doing a special on ROD STEWART? Couldn't the time be better spent saying what an idiot Bush is?!

3. South Park did a hilarious take on Stewart once
Had him as this senile old geezer in a wheelchair, who only uttered one line over and over - "I just crapped my pants!"

I can't stand his voice, it sounds like he needs to swallow a barrel of throat lozenges.

5. Rod Stewart!

Did he ever marry anyone who wasn't young and blonde?

6. Rod Stewart IS annoying as hell.
Particularly his latest recordings of jazz standards. Sorry, if I want to hear Gershwin or Porter, I'll stick to someone who can actually sing and do them some justice.

8. Rod always sounded like he gargled with ground glass...
The only time I ever cared for him was on the first Jeff Beck album, "Truth," where his blown tonsils sort of added to the weird-bluesy sound of the band.

After that, it's been downhill for Rod. I mean, "Hot Legs?" Pull-eese!

9. He was IT in the early 1970s:
Edited on Sat Feb-07-04 04:21 PM by mitchum
had an incredible voice
great songwriter
great interpretor of other's material
excellent sensibilities and arrangements

then he traded it all for a mess of pottage (and a mansion)

It's a real pity
