3. Holy Cow, yes!!!
I was snoozin' and it woke me up!...followed by a nice, heavy, wind-driven period of hail...seems to have calmed a bit now, though.

4. Yes indeed!
I saw the weather report and laughed at the "chance of thunderstorms" yet there have been several good booms in the last half hour. At least today's rain wasn't accompanied by those crazy winds. I swear it gusted over 50 MPH yesterday on this high ridge.
