Any one here in the Army?

I am going into the Army on january 15th, I was just wondring if there are any other progressive people who are are either in now or going soon.

I am not going to kill people, I am going to be saving lives.

2. A large percent of the military is progressive

not quite half, like it used to be, but close. Interesting, the most progressive person you find in your unit might turn out to be your Top Sargent. Mine was, so was my section NCO. Good luck, and I hope you find good people to work with.

I'm not in the Army, but I'm sure there are many progressives who are. The fact that you are going to save lives reminds me of a friend of mine who joined the Marines for a similar reason - I don't know that he was a progressive, although in all likelihood he probably was more conservative since 95% of the population in our area leans heavily towards the right, but he was one hell of a good guy. I wish you the best of luck, and thank you for your service (I know that may sound trite, but I do mean it). :patriot: :hug:

5. Welcome to DU. There are a lot of progressives in the Armed Forces and lots of liberal veterans
