But it needs to be seen and I know there are Buffy nerds in here. Hell this is funny even if you're not a Buffy nerd, the photo matchups alone are priceless.

The GOP Primary Field in Buffy Villains
Shortly after doing my first video blog post in werewolf form, I came up with a guide to the GOP primary field, expressed in terms of the Buffy villains they most resemble.

Fred Thompson: The Judge
His backers got all excited and made a big effort to assemble him. When they finally put him together, he turned out to be a lethargic mess and didn't accomplish very much.

Mitt Romney: The Mayor
They're both clever and generically slick politicians, programmed to appeal to middle America. I can't watch Mitt without thinking of the Demon Mayor of Sunnydale, and that's what inspired this whole list.

John McCain: The Master
The oldest vampire. Got killed early, but there's some talk about how he might rise again.

Ron Paul: Moloch the Corruptor
He's been around a long time, but he only recently absorbed himself into the internet, where he now has a bunch of overexcited followers who spend too much time online.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks of the Mayor every time I see Mittens on TV.

1. Rudy Giuliani shouldn't be compared to Angelus.
Angelus was likable.

13. They should have ended Buffy after season 5
that was a perfect ending - the whole "Death if your gift" thing with Buffy jumping in to sacrifice herself and all.

18. I think 'genius' is a better word for it. :)
I think we kinda freaked out my dad over christmas when I was driving him, my sister and my neice and I put the Buffy musical CD in the player... my neice, my sister and I all started singing along. And not just singing along, but randomly trading voice parts and singing all the harmonies and whatnot. Because we've listened to and watched that episode that many times. :P

Of course, recently I felt a strong urge to look up the guitar chords for http://www.stickmanltd.com/practicesessions/restinpeace.mp3">some of the songs...

but every now and then I'll hop into falsetto. :P
