Confusing talent with acting (as in place the talent over here).

Anybody that looks this good, doesn't NEED to act.

61. But of course! A PERFECT example...
...And while I've seen many fine names on this list of mediocrity, Keanu's jumped out at me, because here is an instance of an EXTREMELY limited actor being packaged and managed by the Hollywood powers-that-be into a box-office megastar (not so much today but as recently as a few years ago). While I quite agree that, say, George Clooney is limited as an actor, he is never painful to watch on screen and has shown real talent as a writer and director. The same cannot be said of "Cool-Breeze-Over-Tasty-Waves," or whatever Keanu's name means in Hawaiian. The lad's been out of his depth since Day One, and you can practically taste the sweat of the directors who've managed to carefully fit him into otherwise excellent movies ("River's Edge" and "Private Idaho" come to mind) by not asking him to do much in the way of acting.

Now, thank God, in the 21st century we've come to our senses and are turning genuine talents like Lindsay Lohan into the Bette Davises of tomorrow.

KIDDING!

Bruce Willis always seems to be the "burnt out reluctant hero" in basically every movie he's been in. Not say that I don't enjoy a good number of his movies, but he always seems to play that same guy every time.

It's a fine character, to be sure...and he's certainly
picked some great movies for it.

But that doesn't make him a great actor.
