my bulging discs repaired. shit. i have my mind all wrapped around the idea of having someone digging around in my neck, but they can't get me in until the end of the month. arggghh. and my regular doc is sick (the nerve!) so i had to throw a dart to find someone to do a pre-op physical.
i just want this fucking pain to stop. obviously, i will do anything. but a month! a whole nother month! could someone come over here and shoot me?

Both my mom and dad have had surgery for problems there. It leads me to wonder if I will some day.

Do you at least have some pain meds?

you know how it is, you have a problem, and find out everyone you know has had it.
and no, no good meds. my rheumatologist, who spent the last 3 months treating me for what i don't have, has yet to give me anything good for anything. i suspect his input into anything will point in the direction of no.
had some vicodin for a while, and that got into a bad loop. plus i took a few too many of those.
ibuprophen works as good as any of that. trouble is, i can't take anything that thins blood for 2 weeks, which starts pretty much now if i am holding out any hope of getting bumped up.
geez i hate this crap.
