1. My dear PaddyBlueEyes...
Is this a game rant?

I'm sorry, sweetie...

I know how hard it is to see your team lose...

But still, it's lovely to see you tonight!

3. Heh...could be worse.
Could be Cutler.

And besides...they've got the wild card so it's not like their season's over. After tonight, they're even with New England.

He will throw at least 2 interceptions at pivotal times in the game.

5. Aw, c'mon...you've gotta think positive.
(and don't say that you're positive he'll throw at least 2 interceptions at pivotal times in the game).

If I can think positive, then you sure as hell can.

after all, pitchers and catchers don't report until mid-February. At this point, anything's possible.

He had to do something right to get the wild card to begin with. They're 10-6. It ain't all bad, darlin'.

(whoops...edited to fix the record)

18. The D didn't give him much help either.
Don't get me wrong, I think Eli sucks too. But they would've been a lot worse off tonight without him having the game he did. That was, maybe, his best game as a pro.

11. Eli Needs A New Coach And Play Makers Around Him
If the Giants were smart, they'd snatch up that Garrett guy, who's the Offensive Coordinator for the Cowboys, and make him the coach.

20. Eli needs some receivers who can actually CATCH passes too..
Did you see the game agaisnt Washington a few weeks ago...Some of those guys seemed like they couldn't catch a pass to save their life....Shockey is the only one with decent hands and he is gone...

22. correction... it's moran :P
and he could do better.

although I dunno if that interception was all that kept them from winning, hard to say. Brady is a better quarterback, but the Giants played their hearts out and Manning had pretty good stats really.

oh well, the giants have their wild card spot, maybe they will shine

:hi:

23. Vikings will trade you Jackson for him.
Teams stack 8 players near the line looking for the run and the Vikes still can't pass.

25. This Pats fan says Eli is no Peyton, buy he played like Peyton last night.
He's been very inconsistent in his career, but he played a damn good game. The Giants defense just couldn't do the job vs the Pats.

26. He played well last night
And good for him for doing so, in spite of the talent on the other team, and the hype that was inherent in this game.

But...

Watching him play he looks like he plays scared. I am just a fan so I give that my opinion has no practical experience behind it, but he looks like he panics, doesn't think when he passes and makes a lot of wild passes and bad choices for targets. That's why I think he plays scared. He needs a better coaching staff around him and he could be a very good QB.

29. Was watching the game Saturday night.
It got old very quickly the way the commentators were fellating Eli Manning. My husband, who isn't a passionate football fan, said the same thing, too. Then he mentioned how Eli must be liking it because of his smile in the picture with his stats. I then made the comment about how the commentators have been fellating Tom Brady all season. Brady's smile was bigger than Eli's.

31. Give him a pair of good receivers and it's a different ballgame!
I cannot believe how times his receivers have dropped perfectly thrown passes. Give him somebody like Moss. Or Reggie Wayne. Whole different ballgame.
