17. Weird. I had a dream last night that hubby uprooted the family and moved us all into

a little shack on a Florida beach. (Of course, he planned to renovate it for $500K, though where that money was coming from I had no idea.)

The only thing I said was, "Um, hey, do you really think we can afford this?" and "I heard the schools down here aren't all that great"

But at least I didn't dream the part about packing and moving all the boxes. :P

I went from a private school in NY to a public school in FL in 1st grade... and I didn't have to pay attention in school for the next two years. Because they didn't teach me a single thing I hadn't already learned.

In 3rd grade I had to pay attention again because we learned our times tables... then I zoned out again until freshman year of high school, when they finally taught us something new: how to write an essay. (I'm not exaggerating. They didn't teach us anything new that entire time. And I was in gifted classes.) Then I didn't learn a damn thing again until my junior year, when I started teaching myself the stuff that I knew I'd never be able to learn in a Florida school.
