Can any one recommend a good (and inexpensive) domain registry?
I have a website in the works but don't want to publish it until I have registered my domain name. My ISP/web space provider does not offer registry to non-business customers. So I need a place where I can register my domain and re-direct users to my site.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Foamdad

1. 1) get a Yahoo account.
2) go through Yahoo to get a Geocities web page.
3) use one of the business options.

You can get your domain name registered for $15, then it's $8.95/month to run the site.

I have no affilliation with them, but I do have 30 domains with them. Their prices are among the lowest, features among the best, and the interface is awesome. You can do anything with Dotster, including handle your own dns.

4.  I concur.
Godaddy is inexpensive and offers good features. There are cheaper places, but none I know of with the same combination of low prices and good service. Their webhosting is OK too.
