Woah, did last-minute xmas shopping - it was EASY!

Went to Toys R Us to get a couple videogames for the bf. The parking lot was crowded, but went into the store - no lines at the checkout. Went to the game dept. - no lines at the counter! Bought my games, went home. 10 minutes.

Back in MY day, shopping on xmas eve was a pain in the ass!

And at the grocery store, they were announcing mark downs like crazy, so I got a lot of chocolate candy too! :P

I only waited in line at the music store for a total of 5 minutes.

Kohls's was a little longer. I got deep discounts, so it was worth the wait! :woohoo: (and I mean deep!)

I got all my shopping done in 4 hours! Gifts and food and booze and rented movies!

I'm in disbelief!

I remember back in the 80's when it was a horror show trying to just get into a mall and find a parking space!

Today wasn't that bad at all. I'm thankful for the highway between stores! ;)

2. I went to Circuit City for some gift cards today

And I felt like shooting some people. I'll never, ever, ever, go out to the stores on Christmas Eve ever fucking again.

3. Circuit City makes me feel that way

on any random day.

It was amazing - I had steeled myself ahead of time. "This is gonna suck, so just go and expect it to suck. You'll get through it. Don't carry any weapons." But it was a breeze!
