Why does HDTV look fuzzy?
Even 1080P looks a little fuzzy to me.

2. Get your glasses checked...
OK, on a more serious note, if you are recieving a SDTV signal, and not an HDTV signal, then the quality of the picture depends purely on how the HDTV handles it. Unfortunately, most brands purposely degrade SDTV signals so they look worse than they would on SD or ED TVs.

Now, LCD screens suffer from color bleeding or blending, depending on brand and quality of the screen, so it could be that instead. Plasma, I believe, also suffers from that, to a limited extent.

3. Even the most expensive plasma screens look fuzzy to me.
Could it be due to compression by the Cable or Satelite provider? Even the Blu-Ray demo kiosk looked fuzzy.

5. Could be, its quite hit and miss...
with all that happens. Its possible that you can find a CRT(tube) HDTV, and that has the best screen and color definition. If you can find one of those, that may solve your problems. Its a pain in the ass, I'm waiting until they come down to a reasonable price AND the technology matures enough.

LCD and Plasma screens are more expensive, even though they are lighter, but have poorer color definition.

ON EDIT: I just realized my subject may make you think I was saying YOU are full of bullshit, I was referring to Best Buy. Sorry.
