I feel like a fucking stuffed sausage.
I can't believe how much weight I've gained in the last few months. :banghead:

I don't want to put on bigger jeans, (if I even have any) because I don't want to get used to this weight. I feel like if I torture myself with these jeans that are already too small, (which were too big a few months ago) then I won't want to eat.

Has anyone taken any of the over the counter weight loss pills? I know I look for a pill to fix fucking everything but I swear I am desperate now. Some friends of mine took that new blue pill that has been advertised and they said it was helping them a lot. I can't remember the name of it.

Now I feel nauseous on top of everything.

Oh yea, Merry fucking Christmas!

Sorry for the downer.

2. Stay away from weight loss pills!!!!
They either don't work or are dangerous...

Wanna lose weight quick? I gotta warn you, it won't be fun. But it can give you healthy, predictable results. And you don't have to change your diet either.

Just every morning, first thing you do, eat breakfast. Then go work out. Do at least 30-45 minutes of hard cardio. Get your heart up to at least 65% of its max (every gym has charts that show you the formula)

Then live as normal. Do this every morning and take one day off.

In three weeks, I guarantee you will have lost some fat.

It will be so early in the morning you won't remember it :)

16. For better or worse, Taverner's right.
Exercise is key.
:bounce: <-- cardio work out

If it's any consolation, maybe someone will get a good copycat off your thread title, though!

They recommend that you wear dark pants because you might crap in your pants.

13. Found it...
"You may feel an urgent need to go to the bathroom. Until you have a sense of any treatment effects, it's probably a smart idea to wear dark pants, and bring a change of clothes with you to work"

9. Why do you think you've put on the weight? More food? Less exercise?
Look at the cause, then determine the solution. The best solution is rarely in pill form.

First thing I'd do is analyze my diet. Then, break my meals into 5 or 6 smaller meals (assuming you eat the typical 3 meals/day).

Remember the formula of weight loss:

calories burned > calories eaten

12. You know I just realized that it is a combination of my stomach problems
going away and my neck problems starting. Not that I was that active when my stomach was feeling awful but I did not eat much for months. Now the situation is much better and I'm loving eating.

And then I found out from an MRI that my neck pain is indeed not in my head. The doctor's words were: "You have a reason to be in pain". So I've had shots and physical therapy and they have been telling me to not do anything except the minor exercises that they gave me.

It makes sense now but I can't use my neck as an excuse all time time. I can still walk.

I've been to weight watchers before and it has really worked well. I just need to get motivated to get to a meeting.

Thanks for the advise.

14. "...and I'm loving eating"
Sounds like you've really given your metabolism a smackdown.

Again, I'd try to break my meals up more during the day (hey, love eating all the more often, just less at each instance). If your neck is a problem, ask your doctor about maybe using a stationary bike, preferably a recumbent syle. Any chance you have a gym nearby where, if the doc okays it, you can ride said type of bike (they can be expensive to buy).

If Weight Watchers works for you, then it seems those jeans might be motivation enough to get out that door to a meeting. Do you really have another couple weeks or a month to wait? Holiday season famous for waistline challenges as it is, and all.

11. Easy Solution ==> Eat less calories,excersice
Abstain from fast food , I mean NEVER put a piece of french fries in your mouth.

Substitute Olive oil for other oils , and cook with half the oil and butter you would normally use .

Eat small portions.

Eat a lot of veggies , fruits and buy lean cuts.

Limit meat to 2-3 days a week .

Exercise for 60 minutes a day , it doesn't have to be vigorous , a walk around the block will do.

Eat half the portions you would normally eat , try to limit your calorie intake to 1500 a day.

17. I know that you are supposed to love your body in order to heal it so I suppose
that goes for the fat also but I have always had a problem with that part of the equation.

I'm ready to try anything.

18. Well, if you "love" your body at least once a day and twice on Sunday...
that might be one way to burn some calories.

19. Some quick simple tips:
Lemon in everything you drink,if you can. I even drink cola with lemon..
If you can, heat up a cup of hot water in the morning. Squeeze at least one lemon wedge, more if you can stomach it. If you HAVE to sweeten it,use a very small amount of honey. Drink as hot as you can.

Opt for grilled chicken instead of fried.

In every sandwich, take off one piece of bread. Use wheat bread when possible.

Use Benefiber - dissolves easily & with no taste in almost anything (yogurt, soup, hot tea, cold tea, etc. etc.). That way you can make sure you are flushing as much as possible out of your body.

Flush your liver with Milk Thistle. Helps your body process everything better.

Don't forget to eat as much fresh garlic as possible...cleaning your blood helps to get fat out quicker also.

If you want to drink liquor, stick to vodka with cranberry. Red wine instead of white, less sugar, more potential benefit.

I have been told to drink Oolong tea after a heavy meal, so I've been experimenting with that for a few weeks. It might be worth a try, up to you.

If you don't want to try 'diet' pills, here are some alternatives:

Natural water pills, drugstore.
Green tea supplements.
*my biggie* CLA supplements, your local GNC or Vitamin Shoppe. I have lots of info on this, but on the the other comp. Natrol brand Tonalin CLA is what I recommend.
.
I know how hard it is to get planned exercise during the holidays. Every little bit helps. Best of luck!

20. Thanks for the information. I have to remember that I need to get healthy
instead of just loose weight. I used to follow a very strident food allergy diet and I was quite thin at the time. And a lot healthier.
