Philosophy Now magazine is going to use my watercolor portrait of Nietzsche in an issue to be published in London in January, hitting the states in February. It's for some article that somebody is doing analyzing the film The Departed via some aspects of Nietzsche's philosophy.

It was the first thing I did when, in 1999, I started doing art again after many dormant years:

11. Oh, thanks! I won't get paid, because they need royalty-free images

since Philosophy Now isn't a huge money-making enterprise.

I was quite pleased to be asked, since I have long been a reader of Nietzsche and a dilettante in philosophy.

A guy wanted to buy the painting at a show last January, but I'm too attached to that one to sell it.
