Anyone here have a S51S Canon Powershot camera, thinking of buying one tomorrow before I leave town.

1. I have one....

As someone who has owned a bunch of Canon SLRs over the years, I like it as far as a digital camera goes -- disclaimer: I have not had it very long and still find using it confusing.

The feel of using it is fairly close to a SLR, without spending lots of money on a really expensive digital camera. But I miss my SLR. The market has made them virtually impossible to use now.

So, I would recommend one.

I played with the camera at the store and I liked it.

It has a lot cool features, and the price is right.

I am not ready for SLR yet, but this camera is close.
