I am on the "planning committee" which means I have to fight for things I really don't give a fig about in the first place - If I did not have to go, I wouldn't. I am getting sick on top of it, so I plan to make an apperance and go home before 8:30. But tragically, I will miss the raffle. Isn't that awful? Anyway, I am in charge of port-a-potties. Which pardon the pun is really shitty. The gallery where we are having this opens at noon. I specifically mentioned that they would be opening at noon and then the deliveries could be made. The delivery guy called me at 8am and asked where I wanted them. Holy crap. A five minute conversation later, I finally convinced them to come back after noon as originally planned to deliver the damn thing.

Honestly I don't care. I am ready for this to be over. People take it all so personally! I am boycotting the holidays this year...If I want a present, I will buy it for myself. If anyone I know wants something, they will buy it for themselves. You would think that the stores are going to be closed for the rest of the year based on how freaking frenzied and crowded everything is.
