1. Mrsfish has been in a group for 3 years
after all that time they are great friends, that helps. They were pretty much strangers to begin
They started by having a core group of committed people recruit their best friends and associates, people they could count on to be group players and show up. They oiled the whole thing with lots of wine a great food, everyone takes a turn hosting. No husbands and no kids-we go to the movies that night. Season it with gossip and shared interests,( this group is all mothers of about the same age, they all have mostly daughters for kids. Most are bored stay-at-home Moms, some work and wanna night away). They keep the group going by inviting new players or visitors along, some stay, some dont.

I love my wives' "bunco babe" friends, we all get together for Xmas, now husbands and all. They are all strong characters with funny personalities.
