My cup runneth over.
You may remember my post yesterday about the $8,000,000 and some change I was about to collect from some guy in Ibadan or somewhere.
Well LOOKY what came in today!
There's an old saying: "Them as HAS, GETS."
I guess it's true.
I was gonna get a Lear, but now I think I'll go for the 747.
YeeHaaaaaaa!

Dr. Felix Okotie
Federal Ministry Of Works & Housing .
Federal seretariat,
Lagos-Nigeria.

Dear Sir,

BUSINESS PROPOSAL

First, I must solicit your strictest confidence in this transaction,

this is by virtue of it's nature as being utterly confidential andtop

secret as you were introduced to me in confidence through the

effortof an associate of mine who is the foreign trade division of

mycountry's consulate in the Unitedkingdoom. What I am about to devulge

to you in this letter is top secret and if it offends or does not meet

with your business ethics, I crave your indulgence.

I am the chairman of the Contract Review Panel (CRP) set up by the
present civilian Government of Nigeria to review contracts awarded by

the past military administration. In the course of our work at the

CRP, we discovered this fund which resulted from gross re-valuatio of

contracts by top government officials of the last administration. The

companies that executed thecontracts have been duly paid and the

contracts commissioned leaving the sum of US$22.5 Million floating in

the escrow account of the Central Bank of Nigeria ready for payment. I

have therefore been mandated as a matter of trust by my colleagues
inthe committee to look for an overseas partner to whom we

couldtransfer the sum of US$22.5M legally subcontracting the

ntitlement to you/your company. This is bearing in mind that our civil

service code of conduct forbids us from owning foreigncompany or
running foreign account while in government service hence theneed for

anoverseas partner.

We have agreed that the funds will be shared thusafter it has been

paid into your account: (1) 30% of the money will go to you for acting

as the beneficiary of the fund. (2) 10% has been set aside as an

abstract projection for reimbursment to both parties for incidental

expences that may be incured in the course of the transaction. (3) 60%

to us the government officials (with which we wish to commence an

importation business in conjunction with you ).

All logistics are in place and all modalities worked out for the
smooth conclusion of the transaction within ten to fourteen days of
commencement after receipt of the following information: Your full
name/company name, address, company's details & ctivities,telephone &

fax numbers. These information will enable us make the applicationand

lodge claims to the concerned ministries & agencies in favour of your

company and it is pertinent to state here that this transaction

isentirely based on trust as the solar bank draft or certified

chequedrawable in any of the Central Bank of Nigeria correspondent

bankers in America, Asia and Europe is going to be made in your

name. Please acknowledge the receipt of this Email .

I await your prompt and positive response to this business proposal.

Yours Faithfully,

Dr. Felix Okotie

THEN, I got this:

Dear friend,
I am sorry to encroach in your privacy, please permit me to introduce
myselfto you.
My name is Mariam Ajao omotoriola, I am the eldest daughter of late
engr.Omotoriola Ajao, I am 22 years old and a final year students of
mathematics
in the university of Ibadan.I lost both parents in a plane crash on the
4thof may 2002 in the city of Kano, Nigeria. My late father engr.omotoriola
ajao was the then Area Manager of petroleum pipeline marketing cooperation
(PPMC) before
his death. He was a wealthy man, and infact a model. Before his death, he
had about 3 petrol station and numerous properties in the country. But after
his death, his family member teamed up and sold all his properties both fixed
and
current, and now we are left with nothing. About two weeks ago, my father?s
personal lawyer, Thomas Emoson (SAN) contacted us and made us understand
that my late father has some amount of money to the tune of ($3.2 million
usd),Three million two hundred thousand united state dollar in a suspense
account in a finance house in London. He went further to say that he has the
legal power as my fathers attorney to release all documents that will enable
us make claims
of the fund, but that the only problem we will have is that we will have to
look for an honest, God fearing foreigner who will act as my fathers partner
in business so as to make claims of the fund.
Consequently, I also intend to donate part of this fund to the motherless
babies and orphanage once we are able to claim the fund because as an orphan
I
have suffered so much, and I know what it takes for one to stay without
parents.
This is the reason why I decided to seek for your assistant and cooperation
to help us make claims of my father property. I have attached the obituary
announcement of my late parents and other deceased member of staff of the
company as published in (THIS DAY), one of Nigerian dailies. As soon as
I receive your positive response, I will inform my fathers lawyer so that he
can
reach you and explain what is expected of you in this matter. I urgently
await your swift response.
Regards
Mariam Ajao.

Am I the luckiest guy in the world, or what?
God loves me, he really really does.
p.s. I don't think it would be a good idea to click on any links in these e-mails.
