My washer is dissatisfied.
Every time I use it lately, it tries to walk somewhere else.

1. I had one that used to do some sort of foot stomping jig
when the load got unbalanced. Very disconcerting...:hi:

2. Mine has a knack for it.
Invariably it tries to spin the whole mass of washing round on one side of the drum. It makes quite an incredible noise. God knows what the neighbours think is happening.

5. Seriously.
My mum has a top loader. It's way better. You can put loads more laundry in it, and they seem to last longer too. She's had hers like twenty years or something.

But they're difficult to find now. When I was looking to kit my apartment out, I did see one top loader, but the drum was still on its side like a front loader. That meant the drum needed a door in the side! It was the stupidest thing I ever saw!

7. the front loader we use at work is great
with none of the silliness of our home washer, which is constantly off balance.
We used the one at work probably 100x more than the home one and it's way better off.
Eh, they all have issues eventually somehow :)

6. They come with their own set of problems..
Well, they do when you live with a couple kids that leave tons of shit in their pockets. Our old one needed to have the pump cleaned every couple of weeks. The new one has a filter. But you still need to remove the front of the washing machine to get to the filter.

8. They all have issues no matter their design
and it seems to depend on the make and model too... you never know.
