i is teh tres smaht - i just moved our car to a covered garage

when bi-baby was shoveling out our car (god bless her. that's why i lover her. :loveya:) after the storm of the century, one of our neighbors (whom we affectionately nicknamed, "wicked cool guy") told us what they do when a storm is coming: they move their car from our open air parking lot to inside the MBTA parking garage across the street. and when the plow comes, they plow out their space.

we're getting a shit-show starting at about midnight, and the snow accumulation is estimated to be about 5" from our most recent weather update, but it's a nor'easter and it's going to be rain for the end of the storm. i'm not up for chipping out our car.

12. We get snow in the morning, mix & freezing rain in the afternoon and snow again overnight. Total

accumulation of it to be 6-8 inches with about 1/4 inch of that being ice.

for a few years i lived in Clinton, and we always got blasted every f'n storm. most places got either rain or an inch of snow, and i was always digging out for hours every time.

having someone else to dig is great as i can attest.

the accumulation shouldn't be much at all, but the fact that it's a nor'easter means it's unpredictable, and that rain is going to be large portion of the storm, mainly at the end, makes me cringe at the possibilities.
